QR code for a contact card

Lets people save a contact without typing the name, phone number, or email by hand.

A vCard QR goes further than a plain phone number. One code can carry a name, surname, company, job title, phone, email, website, and address.

After a scan, a compatible device shows a contact card or offers to import it into the address book.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep the card minimal with just name and phone?

Yes. The fields are optional. You can keep the card short if you do not need email, website, or address.

Will the contact save automatically after the scan?

Not always. Most devices show the contact card first and let the user confirm the save action.

Why should I test Cyrillic carefully in a vCard?

Because Unicode handling varies across generators and scanners. This project encodes it correctly, but a device level test is still the safest final check.
